Mark Freedman started on the manufacturing floor — running kaizen events, building the systems his operations depended on. Over 15 years he went from quality engineering to leading product at a manufacturing software company. William VanBuskirk came from engineering and consulting, spending years helping manufacturers transform their operations and hitting the same wall: the people who understood the problems best didn’t have tools built for them.
